Sedona, AZ Trip

Jen and I recently returned from a trip to Sedona, AZ a short time ago. Naturally I took a couple pictures.

No Sedona photo album is complete without a picture of the Chapel of the Holy Cross design by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Sedona is quite artsy.

We did some geocaching. This one was pretty well disguised as a rock.

We stopped up to the Grand Canyon.

Lego Penrose Triangle

After seeing a post of a Lego Penrose triangle at brothers-brick.com one of my co-workers decided to build his own. I borrowed it for the night to take get picture with some off camera lighting. I couldn’t quite get exactly what I wanted but I came close:

Rochester Sidewalk Snowplow

With all the snow we have been getting here in Rochester the sidewalk snowplow has been by a few times. I think the plow and driver are pretty cool and retro looking complete with the plowman wearing the traditional cap so I had to get a picture. Jen knew I wanted to catch him so she yelled at me to get the camera when she happened to see him heading down the opposing sidewalk. I was able to get him when he came down our side:

We have a little snow for this Christmas. It is 18 degrees out right now. Wednesday (Christmas Eve) they claim it is going to rain. Here is a couple shots of our street late at night. I did a click white balance on the snow. Normally the snow is orange under our street lighting. The sky too. I suppose it looked like a nice sepia photo but I like this better.
